Dr. Sletten is a graduate of Concordia College receiving his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees and my Master’s degree in Orthodontics (M.S.D.) from the University of Minnesota.

He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. He has extensive studies in the fields of temporomandibular joint dysfunction and chronic pain and surgical orthodontics. He teaches and lectures on occlusion and TMJ. In 2001 he was the President of the Roth/Williams International Society of Orthodontists. Advancement in orthodontics now is led by people worldwide.

He is an OBI faculty member and teaches part time in the Orthodontic Department at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Sletten and Dr. Dumont were dental school classmates and have reconnected via the Roth/Williams orthodontic courses and OBI courses being taught at the R/W Center in Burlingame, CA. They are now working together on an exciting project toward publication and “making a difference.”
